The Ocean Signal ATB1 Class B AIS Transceiver incorporates the superior SOTDMA access scheme which provides increased visibility to other vessels.
Designed as an aid to collision-avoidance, it provides a significant advantage in navigational safety giving you the peace of mind that your vessel will be seen day or night, no matter the weather.
Your vessel information such as position, speed, course and heading is ascertained automatically and continuously using the impressive internal multi-GPS receiver for accurate global positioning. Boasting 99 acquisition channels and 33 tracking channels, this advanced technology ensures that the AIS transmissions provide the most accurate indication of your vessel’s position at all times. Other vessel information such as vessel name, call sign, type and dimensions as well as the MMSI are also transmitted automatically from the ATB1.
The ATB1 also receives and interprets AIS messages from other AIS equipped vessels within range, which can then be relayed effortlessly to other navigation devices such as chart plotters, laptops or mobiles using the ATB1’s NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000®, USB or WiFi outputs.
Using the superior SOTDMA access scheme sets the ATB1 apart from the CSTDMA class B products available. This Ocean Signal Class B unit has the same AIS transmission priority as a class A unit, giving the added assurance that there will be no loss or delay of transmission, even in high traffic areas.

The MOB1 is a personal locating AIS Man OverBoard device with integrated DSC (digital selective calling) transmitter. It’s compatible with even the most compact inflatable life-jackets and is intended to be installed within the life-jacket, activating automatically on inflation, sending the first alert within 15 seconds.
The integrated strobe light ensures maximum visibility in low light conditions.
Once activated the MOB1 will transmit an alert to all AIS receivers and AIS enabled plotters in the vicinity (up to 5 miles range dependent on conditions) and the integrated GPS ensures precise location information is sent to your vessel and any others that may be assisting.
An additional feature of the MOB1, is its ability to activate the DSC alarm on your vessels VHF, alerting your crew to the situation.

Standard Returns

If you are not entirely happy with your purchase, we will exchange or refund your goods in full, provided that the items are returned within 14 days of receipt.*

Please check the condition of goods on arrival - we are unable to accept goods damaged during shipping after 14 days.

Returned goods must be packaged securely, with all original packaging undamaged and in a saleable condition i.e. shoe boxes must be in the same condition as when received.

Goods must be unused and security seals intact.*

If you would like to return goods because they were ordered incorrectly or if clothing does not fit, return postage will be at your expense. If you would like us to replace the goods with another size or colour, we will charge carriage on the replacement.

Please be aware that some navigational and safety products may be dated, and as such a full refund may in some cases not be possible. If you are purchasing dated navigational charts we suggest you contact us for more information.

Faulty Goods

If you receive your goods and believe them to be faulty, please contact us straight away with a brief description of the problem. If we require you to return the product for a replacement, we will send you a pre-paid Royal Mail label for delivery back to us. Unfortuantely we cannot send the courier back to collect the items.

Returning goods to Force 4 is easy!

1. Please contact us by ringing 0345 1300 710 or email on [email protected]. This way we'll be able to determine whether you would like to return the product for a refund or whether you'd like to exchange the product. We are unable to process the return of faulty goods that we're not expecting.
2. We'll then give you a returns number. This returns number will need to be clearly marked on the outside of your parcel so it can be identified on arrival. Please note, failure to mark a returns reference number on the outside of your parcel may result in a delay in processing your return.
3. Don't forget your proof of postage, just in case!
4. Once we receive the item we'll be able to proceed with a refund or an exchange.
