Rigging, Cable & Rope Cutters

One of the worst emergencies that can befall a sailing yacht at sea is a dismasting. Having your rigging fail and collapse on you is unlikely, but, if it happens you should be prepared. 

Having a set of cable cutters or rope cutters on board is highly recommended to be able to cut away steel wire rope standing rigging in an emergency situation.
