Firehawk Carbon Monoxide Alarm

- Carbon monoxide is an extremely poisonous gas. It is completely colourless, odourless and tasteless and when inhaled it causes chemical asphyxiation.
This compact detector contains a sealed in battery with a 7 year life, and can be bulkhead mounted or used free-standing on the included base. It will emit a loud alarm when it detects carbon monoxide, even at levels as low as 30ppm.
It is also small enough to be used when travelling to give protection from faulty appliances wherever you are.

FORCE 4 STORE MANAGER FAVOURITE
Carbon Monoxide Alarm
"Most yachts have engines and many have gas cookers which can potentially give off Carbon Monoxide so it makes sense to protect you and your crew from this silent killer. The BSS Inland scheme now requires a CO Alarm as mandatory but whether inland or at sea a CO alarm is a good idea. I have this unit in my home and on my yacht (recently fitted!). It can be wall/bulkhead mounted, has a test function, a 7 year battery life and a low battery alarm."

Product Questions

Is the battery in the Firehawk CO detector rechargeable, or do you simply replace to entire unit when the battery runs low?

The Firehawk has a Sealed-In long life lithium battery (7 year life).  So the unit has to be replaced at the end off life.
