Torqeedo electric outboards are powered by lithium batteries. Both the Travel models and Ultralight models we stock have Lithium batteries. This provides their electric motors with reliable long lasting power.
You can also purchase a spare or replacement battery for your electric motor.
Torqeedo engines are much lighter than their petrol counterparts, making them easier to move and store. The obvious green element, being much better for the environment. Electric outboards are also a lot quieter than petrol driven engines, making cruising along in your dinghy a more pleasant experience.
