  2. We'll then give you a returns number. This returns number will need to be clearly marked on the outside of your parcel so it can be identified on arrival. Please note, failure to mark a returns reference number on the outside of your parcel may result in a delay in processing your return.
  3. Don't forget your proof of postage, just in case!
  4. Once we receive the item we'll be able to proceed with a refund or an exchange.

*this excludes faulty goods with manufacturers defects. If goods are found to be faulty during use, after the returns period, please just give us a ring on 0345 1300 710 and we'll be happy to help.

Planning to sail off shore require long range internet connection what range does this system offer? David
I am looking for reliable wi-fi network for my boat. I want to be able to work from anywhere, so need to be able to attend zoom meetings online and get my email regularly. We cruise around the Solent, around the UK coast and continental Europe. I have been looking at the 4G Connect would the basic kit be suitable, or would I need to go for the pro kit? Or is there something else you could recommend Force 4
4GConnect would be perfect and it really comes down to giving yourself the best chance of getting a good signal. The standard unit with the rear mounted antennas will have slightly higher gain than your phone and if you mount it near a window, will give good performance - but the external antennas of the Pro version really do make the difference and will ensure you are still connected when everyone else around you are off-line. You can always start with the standard unit and buy the Pro antenna pack later on, if you find you need that extra range. 21.01.21
Please can let me know the range of the 4g connect internet - I am looking for upto 10miles offshore. Force 4

It depends on the network provider, where their cell tower is in relation to the shore, the frequency of the mobile signal (lower frequency = longer range), how many other devices are connected, the topography of the coastline (line of sight), etc. so many variables.

In Digital Yachts tests with Vodafone (uses the lowest 800Mhz LTE frequency) around the Solent they always had a good connection and managed between 10-15 miles off shore when they came out of the Solent.

To get maximum range, you need the Pro antennas and you need to talk to locals in the area you will be sailing in to find which network has the best coverage and then check what frequencies they use for 4G. If there are a cjhoice of two good network providers go for the one that uses the lowest LTE frequencies. 21.01.21
