WEST SYSTEM® 105/205 A Pack – Fast-Curing Epoxy for Coating, Bonding, and General Repairs
The WEST SYSTEM® 105/205 A Pack is a high-performance epoxy kit designed for fast, reliable results in boat building, general bonding, coating, and repair work. Ideal for lower-temperature conditions, it cures quickly at room temperature, forming a strong, moisture-resistant solid with excellent adhesion to a wide range of materials.
This versatile epoxy system bonds effectively to wood, fibreglass, foam, composite cores, metals, and reinforcing fabrics. Once cured, it can be sanded, shaped, and painted, making it suitable for both structural and cosmetic applications. When applied with a roller, it self-levels smoothly and resists defects like fish-eyeing, creating a consistent and professional finish.
For gap filling or filleting, combine the resin and hardener with WEST SYSTEM fillers to suit the job at hand. Multiple coats build an outstanding moisture barrier, ideal for marine and exterior use.
Formulated without volatile solvents, the 105/205 system has a very low VOC content, a high flash point, and no strong odour — making it safer and more pleasant to use. It does not shrink after curing, ensuring dimensional stability and long-lasting performance. Note: it is not recommended for clear-coating natural wood.
Key Features:
• Fast-curing with 205 Fast Hardener – ideal for urgent repairs
• Suitable for coating, bonding, fairing, and gap filling
• Sandable and shapeable once cured
• Excellent adhesion to timber, composites, metal, and foam
• High flash point and low odour
• No post-cure shrinkage
• Not suitable for clear wood finishes

• WEST SYSTEM 205 Fast Hardener – 0.2 kg
Common Uses:
• Marine repairs and boat building
• Bonding and coating timber or composites

WEST SYSTEM® 105/206 A Pack – Extended Working Time Epoxy for Coating, Bonding, and Fairing
The WEST SYSTEM® 105/206 A Pack is a versatile epoxy system designed for applications that benefit from longer working and curing times. It is ideal for warm environments, larger bonding tasks, and projects that demand precision without the pressure of a rapid cure. The slower hardener allows for more control during application while still providing the reliable strength WEST SYSTEM is known for.
Forming a high-strength, moisture-resistant bond, this epoxy adheres well to wood, fibreglass, reinforcing fabrics, composite cores, foam, and metals. Its excellent wet-out capability ensures strong mechanical bonds and effective barrier coatings. Once cured, it can be sanded and shaped for a clean, refined finish.
When applied with a roller, it flows smoothly, self-levels evenly, and resists fish-eyeing, making it suitable for clear, even coatings. The system can be thickened with WEST SYSTEM fillers to fill gaps, fair surfaces, or create structural fillets.
Formulated without volatile solvents, the 105/206 system has low VOC emissions, no strong odour, and a relatively high flash point. It cures without shrinkage, ensuring dimensional stability and long-term performance. This product is not intended for clear-coating naturally finished timber.
Key Features:
• Slow cure time – ideal for warm conditions and larger-scale work
• Bonds to wood, composites, fibreglass, metals, and foam
• Can be thickened for fairing, filleting, or gap filling
• Flows and self-levels with excellent thin-film coverage
• Low odour, high flash point, and no post-cure shrinkage
• Suitable for both structural and cosmetic tasks
Pack Contents:
• WEST SYSTEM 105 Epoxy Resin – 1.0 kg
• WEST SYSTEM 206 Slow Hardener – 0.2 kg
Common Uses:
• Marine construction and repair
• Coating and barrier protection
• Composite bonding and lamination
• DIY woodworking and custom furniture
• Filling, fairing, and surface preparation
Trusted for its consistency, adaptability, and extended working time, the WEST SYSTEM® 105/206 A Pack is a reliable choice for projects that require both strength and precision.
