Minn Kota Endura MAX Electric Outboard - The Endura MAX range of electric outboards utilises an Digital maximiser to give you upto 5 times more running.

Motors with Digital Maximizer provide up to five times longer run time on a single charge by drawing only as much power as you need, so they don't waste any energy. These motors are variable speed, so dial in your precise speed and let Digital Maximizer deliver the right amount of power, while conserving your battery - extending your time on the water.

What battery do you recommend for the 55? Price? Weight?

https://www.force4.co.uk/68ah-lithium-battery.html?sqr=battery& would be an excellent choice as LiFOS has a much greater discharge capability over Lead Acid.  Pricey but an excellent choice for higher drain items.
