The electrical system can be the weakest link on any boat and is especially prone to failure on a saltwater craft. We have some great products from manufacturers such as Blue Sea, AFI, Hella, BEP and Bulgin that will survive the rigours of the marine environment.

When you are travelling at speed on the water it is not always practical to continuously refer to paper charts. Paper chart planning and passage planning are always advisable but having a gps or chartplotter on board gives the power boater an extremely powerful navigation tool. If you want to plan your route on your home PC then packages such as Garmin's Homeport, C-map PC planner or Navionics new Nav planner, will all enable you do this before you set out.

Another powerful tool in the power boaters box is the fishfinder. Its not just about locating fish, knowing the depth of the water under your hull will give you and additional peace of mind when you're wandering into unknown waters. Recent advances in sonar technology such as Structure scan and Downscan can now give you an almost picture quality image of the sea floor.
