Garmin Etrex 30 - The new Etrex 30 is possibly the smallest mapping handheld GPS on the market. The GPS will fit in the palm of your hand but its bright, high resolution 2.2” screen is easily read. The Etrex 30 shares all the features of the Etrex 20 but also has a built-in Barometric Altimeter, 3 axis tilt compensated electronic compass and wireless data transfer feature. The combination of its rugged construction, ergonomic design and multi cartography compatibility renders the etrex a great tool for a wide range of applications, including boating, walking, mountaineering, cycling etc. A micro SD slot enables the user to load up marine, land or street cartography. If you are looking to use the GPS for fun then the paperless Geocaching feature enables the user to upload GPX files straight into the unit.
A high sensitivity internal GPS receiver and HotFix® satellite prediction gives you fast and precise position location and maintains satellite lock even under heavy cover.
