Additional Lifetag for Raymarine man-overboard Lifetag system.
Lifetag is a Personal Man Overboard System. Each crew member wears a lifetag and, should they move 30 feet away from the base station, contact with the base station is broken and an alarm automatically sounds. The alarm can also be set off manually by pressing and holding down a red button on the wrist for 3 seconds. It can aslo be networked to Raymarine’s SeaTalk compatible chart plotters, so when the contact is broken an MOB mode is activated creating an emergency waypoint together with a bearing to that waypoint. The system can be extended to monitor up to 16 tags. Especially useful for shorthand sailing, night passages and family cruising.
